The three primary factors that will determine the cost of a Single-Project Budget are:

1.) The desired runtime of the video
2.) The desired delivery timeline
3.) How many proofs should be reviewed before delivery

Rushed timelines will often incur an additional fee, as opposed to our Managed Service plans which always have top priority.

Managed Service plans are mostly aimed at organizations and content creators with consistent video output. That being said, the Managed Services plan(s) can be great for artists by providing a wide array of services for ongoing support as needs change. There are no retainer fees beyond a security paid upon signing, meaning you can come back to us at any time in the future to pick up additional services on your project.

Depending on the services and timeframe needed for each unique project or series, either option could potentially be a better selection. While single-project budgets have a locked budget and delivery schedule, the price also reflects a buffer for any additional services or time that might be required beyond the outlined roadmap for completion.
Single-Project budgets also generally have an additional fee per-proof delivered after the agreed outline. While the price may be less predictable with a Managed Service, it provides an opportunity for even cheaper work if the requested services can be completed quickly.
A single-project budget might be preferable for a long-term single video project, but would quickly out-cost the Managed Service if multiple projects were commissioned simultaneosly. We are happy to help figure out the best budgeting plan for your upcoming project(s)!

Arcanum offers a 20% discount on the finalized budget for any customer's first single-project budget commission.
We also offer a one-week trial period for any Managed Service plan at half the hourly rate. After the first week, the respective plan will be charged regularly based on services rendered.

We operate primarily on Windows machines using a mixture of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as Resolve Studio to provide a range of services from basic editing to upscaling and encoding optimization. Reach out to us if your project requires a different framework.

Currently Arcanum does not offer services in 3D Animation, Simulation VFX, or 5.1 Surround Mixing. We hope to offer these services to our customers in the future. We are happy to refer you to contacts capable of executing these services should they be required for any project.

We are happy to discuss with you the requirements for any given project via email or by phone free of charge. We will help you to conveive a viable roadmap for your final video delivery. The range of services for any given project can vary depending on content, audience, and goals.

Our office is open to visitors any time between 10AM and 5PM. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning a visit, but otherwise feel free to come by and see how we work. We can discuss project plans in-person to avoid any confusion as well as go over any questions regarding budgeting.
