The ingest phase is vital for enhancing your video’s quality and flexibility. We’ll organize your media and use our three-stage Selects process to identify usable moments, highlights, and the best clips. This ensures that the initial edit features top-tier media while keeping additional options available for future adjustments. We also kick off with initial audio clean-up, including AI background removal and dialogue EQ.
The Assembly Phase marks the start of the editing process, where we skillfully weave together selected clips to create the most engaging and relevant narrative. Whether guided by a screenplay, storyboard, or the creative intuition of our editing team, this phase is all about bringing your vision to life. We’ll also kick off music edits, preliminary color grading, and graphics integration. For projects centered on dialogue, we’ll create a dialogue-focused edit with music first, ensuring that we nail the audio before layering in the visuals. A polished video begins with clean audio! At the end of this phase, you’ll receive your first Assembly Edit for review.
The Polishing Phase is where the magic happens! We refine your assembly edit, integrating your feedback and our enhancements for top-notch quality. This stage typically involves 1-3 rounds of notes, tailored to your project. Once we craft a final edit that excites both you and us, we’ll move to the Delivery Review and finalize all the details—graphics, animation, color, sound, and music—to make your video shine!
The Delivery Review process is your final chance to request changes before we send your deliverables for publishing. This stage includes any last tweaks from you and remaining enhancements by our editing team. We’ll send a final proof marked for Delivery Review, and once you approve it, we’ll move on to the Delivery phase. It’s the perfect opportunity to address any last-minute details that may be on your mind. Typically, this phase requires just one pass for review.
Final Delivery provides your publishing-ready files in an optimized H.264 MP4 format that exceeds YouTube and Vimeo standards. Need lossless options like ProRes or DNxHR? Just let us know! We’ll deliver files using optimized settings or match your specs. All final files are sent online or via hard drive and backed up in Arcanum's offline archive, ensuring easy adjustments if needed after publication.
